Photography

I love photography, I like to be able to keep a memory of an event forever.
For example, my neice. My neice is adorable. Her name is Grace, and she is one year old. Everytime she comes to my house, I probably take almost a hundred pictures of her.
In my photography class, we have amazing equipment. Every computer in the room is a Mac, loaded with Photoshop CS3 or CS4, and we have 6 DSLR Canon cameras (soon to get another) My teacher is really cool, and she has us do really cool projects. Most of the students in my class don't really care about the art of photography, and they're only in there because they want an easy class to take. Half of them screw around during class, and they don't get their projects finished.
My teacher loves me, but thats probably because I am one of the only students that actually knows what real photgraphy is. Some people don't understand the difference between taking pictures, and photography. Taking pictures is simple. You point, and push. (The button.) But potography is a tad harder. You zoom, focus, adjust shutter speed and exposure, ect. You get the point, right?
Some people in my class thing that a picture of an out of focus flower they took with their phone cassifies as a photograph. Believe me, some really do. I have had pictures in art shows, they weren't the greatest, (I could do better) but I was the only person from my class, let alone my whole grade, that had photographs in it. I also got some of my photos hung in a local Starbucks. 11 of them to be exact. There was one other photgraph, and 2 drawings hung, too.
But I don't want to brag. I think I already did. Oh, well.
